Unique Hutong experience

We loved staying in the Hutong suite! The decor really captured old Beijing vibes, and having our own private space was amazing. Breakfast through room service was delicious, but we had to wait a bit longer for a couple of our orders. The staff was so warm and accommodating. they truly made us feel special.

Exceptional staff make a difference

Our adventure started when my ride-hailing app failed. Jeffrey and Caffrey quickly jumped into action, helping me with a ride to the airport, turning a stressful moment into a pleasant one.

While most experiences were great, the lobby felt a bit small and busy during peak times. it could use a larger waiting area for guests.

The chamber maids were extremely helpful and warm.

The reception staff needs more training and were not very helpful.

It was just a good match for a holiday in Beijing with very good value for money. The chamber maids were extremely helpful and warm, really making our stay more enjoyable. I'd recommend checking out the breakfast buffet for a perfect start to the day!

Dining at Waldorf Astoria was a treat! The breakfast buffet had an impressive spread, including Western and Chinese options that filled my belly with joy each morning. Also, the staff's attentive service really stood out during my stay, making every meal feel special. The location near amazing eateries like XiBei XiBei Cai and Lime Thai was a culinary explorer’s dream!

Make sure to try the afternoon tea at Peacock Alley. the Chopard Jewellery theme adds a lovely touch to your experience.

The breakfast spread was delightful, with everything from fresh pastries to warm dim sum. Just a heads up, the common areas could use a bit more greenery to soften the marble vibe. 🌿

Staying here with my teenage daughter was a dream. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with fresh baked goods that we both loved. The location is perfect, just a quick walk to the Forbidden City, making our sightseeing so easy and enjoyable.

However, the wifi connection was frustratingly poor, making online access difficult, and a slight miscommunication during room service led to a dish with unwanted squid, despite requesting no squid. The hotel also lacked charm in some areas, feeling overly modern without personal touches.

the waldorf astoria is a luxurious retreat with a cozy feel. the breakfast buffet is fantastic, offering both european and asian dishes. the indoor pool is decent, great for laps, and the staff is exceptionally attentive, making every guest feel valued. also, experiencing a head-to-toe massage with expert techniques was refreshing and truly relaxing.

the check-in was slow,, which was a bit frustrating. the breakfast buffet was lavish with both western and chinese options 🍳. staff always provided extra bottled water. room decor was modern and luxurious but a bit dusty in spots.
